Welcome to the home of Dyadikós.

This is the small story behind everything, so please have a seat and take your time.

I've started practicing meditation two years ago, mostly Mindfulness. Some lessons had a musical background playing during the practice.

As an ex-musician blessed with an almost absolute pitch, I've always found notes playing distracting.
Compared to a normal hearing, it's like someone is chatting behind you while you try to keep your concentration.

In the next month, I've searched and tried more techniques, and somehow managed some session of Trascendental Meditation.

I've read somewhere, if you really want to help find a problem and then build a solution. That's why I've tried to mix all of my favourite meditation techniques all in a single session.

First of all, the duration I've found nurturing the best feedback is twentyfour minutes.
For the next element I've decided to build something related to the seven chakras, following their color / music / element attributes.

I've mixed the sama-vritti-pranayama, or boxed breathing, as it sharpen my focus; at this point I've been stuck for some weeks, as I felt sounds and visual were missing.

In a first attempt, I've tried to build a mandala like drawing, with really poor result; I'm sure you need years of practice to make one with meanings and a purpose.
So I've tried several application to draw some fractals; they reminded me something about mandalas, and for sure they are something that can be created just once. https://www.chaoticafractals.com/ is where I've found what suited me in the best way.

The audio part was the most difficult to add. Every kind got me distracted, as I randomly recognize any note in.
So I've tried natural background sounds mixed with binaural audio track.
Bingo! It worked!

This was the turning point, so it's also the source for the name of both this blog and youtube channel.

Please notice that both sama-vritti-pranayama and visual meditation requires some prior meditation training to be fully effective.
Nonetheless you should not be discouraged to try!

Please follow the instruction in any of the files, and let me know.
Everything here is completely free, as all of the practices were born as a personal aid for myself.
I simply hope that they can help you too.

Fractals image can be bought as NFT here.

Namasté.
